Portable Dialysis Machine
Dialysis is a process in which toxins accumulated in a patient’s blood are filtered through semi-permeable cellulose membranes and eliminated with water. A dialysis patient undergoes treatment three times a week, receiving 150 liters of dialysate each time. Each dialysis session consumes 120 liters of water. Since the entry of certain chemical compounds in water into the bodies of patients can lead to significant problems, including acute poisoning and bone diseases, the purity of the water used in dialysis is extremely important, and adhering to standards for dialysis water is vital.
The portable dialysis device is used for purifying water used in dialysis. This system can remove 95 to 99 percent of total dissolved solids, viruses, bacteria, water hardness, microorganisms, and organic materials present in water.
The Berlouni portable dialysis device has a capacity of producing 5000 liters of water per day and can be used in various treatment centers, including dialysis centers, intensive care units, emergency departments, mobile and field hospitals, as well as for home dialysis.
